After Blyster and Brandon defeated Dusk and Nexus, the two began working together with their friends as freelance spirit hunters.
Blyster was later wed to Drizzle Tetha (This did happen canonically) and they continue to work with Brandon and hunt down evil spirits.

Well, I've got your basic fire magic. For some reason, I can also use thunder and light ((hint at the fire god Agni having power of fire, sun, and lightning))
By seeing any weapon, my hands can become fiery versions of it. Obviously not as strong, but its effective.
I'm pretty fast. I can duplicate myself using my Fireform power. ((creating an illusion using magic fire smoke))
And I've got this really weird ability...at some points, I can wield this really weird weapon...a very powerful flaming spear. Its not even made of fire...its a regular metal spear that ignites with my body's fire ((another hint at the god Agni's flaming spear))
((He can also use several ultimate spells which consumes his ability to use magic for 24 hours if he uses one: "Agni's Funeral Fire," a massive tower of flames shot directly upward, "Digestive Flame," a single massive shot of fire, practically undodgeable that absorbs and consumes the life force of whatever it touches, and "Destructive Fire" or "Blazing Forest Fire" which is an "Area of Effect" spell that causes his enemies damage over time.))
